All I can say about my lovely friend Jenna and her work is WOW! As someone who is passionate about uncovering hidden beliefs and blocks as well, I absolutely LOVE everything that Jenna is about! Her money mindset work is seriously powerful and mind-blowing- it’s so crazy when you realise how many of us are impacted and held back in our lives because of the beliefs we hold around money, and how we also relate it to our self-worth. If you’re ready to feel abundant in all areas of your life, then Jenna is your girl!

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO JUST GO FOR IT, AND START LIVING THE LIFE YOU LOVE? WAS THERE A TURNING POINT OR AN ‘A-HA’ MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU REALISED YOU NEEDED TO MAKE THE CHANGE?
Before starting my own business I was working for a men’s fashion label and felt completely zapped of any inspiration or soul. Fashion isn’t exactly soulful! To the outside world I had the perfect job, but inside I felt disconnected, frustrated and lacking purpose. One day I was trawling blogs online (at work – shhh) and came across health coaching as a job. It immediately spoke to me and I enrolled to study health coaching within 24 hours! That was the first step to me starting my own business and discovering what I really wanted to do.
HOW IS YOUR LIFE DIFFERENT NOW AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?
I’ve come from a very extroverted masculine environment, to finding my feminine, reconnecting with my intuition and having the complete freedom and creativity to do what I want. It’s a complete 360 not only spiritually, but mentally and emotionally too. I now feel so connected to the work that I do, and I can’t wait to get up each day and support my community. That means so much to me – it’s shown me that you can create a life you love if you simply trust yourself.
WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST FEAR OR BLOCK (EMOTIONAL, MENTAL OR PHYSICAL) THAT YOU HAD TO OVERCOME TO GET WHERE YOU ARE, AND HOW DID YOU BREAK THROUGH IT?
My greatest block was that I wasn’t good enough. “Who am I to do this?” “Everyone will judge me!” – these were the constant thoughts in my head.
I was also very blocked from being in a masculine environment and having my feminine and intuitive energy constantly suppressed. It’s still a work in progress to overcome these fears and blocks but I’ve worked through them by getting quiet, going inward and really trusting myself. I’ve learnt to listen to my inner mentor and shut out the outside world.
HOW DID OPENING UP AND ‘BEING AUTHENTICALLY YOU’ AFFECT THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU OR YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEM?
When I first started my business and leant into my authentic self more, I definitely had some interesting comments from ‘friends’ who critiqued my path and didn’t quite understand why or what I was doing. I quickly learnt that whatever opinions they had were based on their own story and beliefs. Those who did support me (the majority of my beautiful friends and family) have been taken on a journey with me. I always believe that you should lead by example rather than try to change someone, and that’s what I’ve done with my partner and my closest friends and family. I show up as my authentic self and stand for what I believe in, and I’ve noticed this rubs off on them in a positive way too.
DID YOU FACE ANY JUDGEMENTS OR CRITICISMS, WHETHER FROM YOURSELF OR OTHERS?
Yes, I had the odd awkward conversation with people who initially patronised my business. I do believe they either felt a bit jealous, threatened or just didn’t understand why I would leave my ‘perfect job’ to follow my passion. I’ve realised now that others opinions aren’t even about you, it’s about them and their beliefs, so that’s made it easier when dealing with those comments.
WHAT IS YOUR TRUE ESSENCE? THE NATURAL PART OF YOUR BEING THAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL.
I’m a deep thinker, sensitive empathy, creative and a complete introvert! When I’m in my most natural state, I’m a little quirky, fiercely loyal, a big daydreamer, but also a doer.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOURSELF?
I love my natural empathy for other people, the world and animals. My friends and family know that I’m loyal to a tee and I’m always the person to call if they need to rant, vent or have a cry – I’ve always been the ‘mother hen’ of my friends, which is a role that I love! I also love being highly sensitive and I enjoy being a deep thinker who prefers alone time. I used to see this as a weakness but now I know it’s my greatest power.
WHERE DO YOU FIND BEAUTY AND INSPIRATION?
In other women doing amazing things! I get to work with women who are following their true passion and purpose and this inspires me SO much. I get inspired by the simplest things; a walk outside, a vulnerable and raw story told from the heart, or someone showing a true act of kindness.
AS A CHILD, WHAT DID YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO DO?
I was always the arty kid. Drawing, painting and creatively writing. I would prefer to play with one or two friends than in a group (I was clearly an introvert). I also grew up living next to a huge golf course that my dad managed for many years, so I was outside in nature running around on the grass all the time with my dogs or trying to skateboard like my big brother.
WHAT LIGHTS YOU UP AND WHY?
I light up when I’m working with a client and they have an amazing breakthrough or moment of clarity. That never gets old! Overall, I light up seeing women in my community and all around the world stepping into their power. There’s an undeniable shift happening and it’s amazing to be a part of that. I’m so passionate about this because I believe if more women followed their purpose and did those things they want to do deep inside them, that we’d really see more positive change and impact in all ways.
WHEN LIFE GETS BUSY, OVERWHELMING AND THE NEGATIVITY STARTS TO CREEP IN, HOW DO YOU UNWIND AND ALLOW YOURSELF TO ‘JUST BE’?
I usually start by giving myself permission to stop and unwind. That can be the hardest part, particularly as an entrepreneur! I might pop in a podcast and head to the local park and just wander aimlessly in the sun. Sometimes I snuggle into bed with a good book or I binge watch a show – it’s all about balance right?! Whatever it is, finding that time to mentally switch off from work is so important.
WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHER WOMEN WHO ARE WANTING TO RECONNECT WITH THEIR OWN NATURAL WAY OF BEING AND FIND THE BEAUTY WITHIN THEMSELVES?
My main message is to trust your inner mentor and intuition. Allow yourself to go inward, get silent and reconnect. Journal down what is coming to you. What do you really want to be, do and have in your life? What’s the very first step to make that happen?
And most importantly, surround yourself with some soul sisters who just get it. Find your like-minded people and love them hard, because they are the ones who will be your support as you evolve into your new path.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE YOU?
In a constant state of growth, inspired, fiercely passionate and joyful.
